Who do you work with?
Breaking the Loop Behavioral Health serves adolescents and adults ages 12 and up, with younger individuals considered at the clinician’s discretion. Services are available for individuals navigating OCD, anxiety, trauma, addiction and recovery, and emotion dysregulation. If you’re not sure whether your situation is a good fit, reach out — many clients come in carrying more than one of these challenges, and that’s something we are well equipped to work with.
Do you offer in-person or telehealth appointments?
Both options are available to meet your needs. In-person sessions are offered at our location in Omaha, Nebraska, providing a convenient and comfortable setting for those nearby. Additionally, telehealth services are accessible to clients residing throughout Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, and Maine, allowing you to receive care from the comfort of your own home. If you are uncertain about which format will best suit your preferences or circumstances, this is an excellent topic to discuss when you get in touch with us. We are happy to help guide you in making the best choice for your situation.
What insurances do you accept?
Insurance is accepted in collaboration with the Hope Collaborative LLC, with both in-person and virtual options available. The following plans are currently accepted:
Aetna, Ambetter by NTC, First Choice Health/Alliance Network, BCBS, BCBS University of Nebraska Employee Plan (Tier 1), Medica, Molina Nebraska Medicaid, Midlands Choice, Multiplan, NFM Employee Plan (Centivo), Nebraska Medicine Employee Health, Nebraska Total Care , United Behavioral Health, Valenz, Wellmark
Medicare credentialing is in process and expected to be completed by July 2026.
Don’t see your insurance on the list? Self-pay is available for both in-person and virtual appointments. A superbill will be provided so you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement at your plan’s discretion.
What can I expect at my first appointment?
Your very first session will primarily be a conversation designed to help you feel comfortable and understood. There is absolutely no pressure for you to have everything figured out or perfectly organized before you walk through the door. During this initial meeting, you can expect to be asked a variety of questions — these will cover topics such as what motivated you to seek therapy, the specific symptoms or challenges you have been experiencing, and the different aspects of your life that might be contributing to your current situation. Additionally, we will discuss what your goals are and what you hope to achieve through treatment. By the time we reach the end of that first session, we will have started to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored specifically to your unique circumstances and needs.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can easily find all of our contact details on the Contact Us page of our website. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please do not hesitate to call us at 402-303-3391 or send an email to cclem@breakingtheloopbh.com. At this time, we are welcoming new clients and are currently accepting appointments beginning in June 2026.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens — but please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows your appointment time to be offered to another client who may need it.
Please be aware that three or more late cancellations or no-shows — whether consecutive or within a six-month period — may result in termination of the therapeutic relationship. Consistency is an important part of making progress in therapy, and this policy exists to protect that for everyone.
What should I do if I’m in crisis?
Breaking the Loop Behavioral Health is an outpatient practice and is not a crisis center. If you are in crisis or experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911 or contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988. These resources are available 24/7 and are equipped to help in the moment.
If you are currently a client and have a non-urgent concern or question that arises between your scheduled sessions, please feel free to reach out to us either by phone or email. Your message will be carefully reviewed, and we will make every effort to respond to you as promptly as possible.
